SpectatorHi all,
Thank you Sandra for bringing up this interesting discussion. t is really inspiring 🙂
I always imagined myself in a nice supporting relationship, something stronger than friendship. I found it also very hard to find asexual person around me. I was in few relationships previously, but it never worked well. So I hope, I will find someone to share some common interests, to make a family, may be have a child…December 16, 2017 at 2:58 am #29164Sandra
ParticipantHi Karl,
Thank you and thanks for participating in the discussion. I am personally never wanting kids ever, but if someone else in this thread was also interested in that, how do you plan to conceive those given that you are asexual? Still by natural means or other?

SpectatorHi Sandra,
I would prefer the artificial way to tell the truth. But if for some reason it would be necessary in natural, for that reason I may try. Anyway, it is a dream and I really hope one day to make it come true.

InactiveHi, Sandra! I’m Joy (from both of your FB groups). I just wanted to add myself to this list!

SpectatorThanks for asking this, Sandra! I am a homoromantic who VERY MUCH wants a serious and committed relationship as an asexual (either with another homoromantic asexual or someone who simply wants to share a life together without sex). In fact, this is the main purpose why I submitted a profile for this site. I’ve spent years wondering if a relationship is possible, but I no longer believe I am the only one out there who wants to live the kind of life that I do. We’ll see. 🙂
Best wishes,

SpectatorI wish I had your optimism, Royce.

SpectatorI completely understand your point, Mara! But sometimes all I have is optimism…and a vodka martini. Both have their uses. 🙂

ParticipantHi Karl
I hope your dream come true, I know some female asexuals do want kids, and there tends to be more female than males, so you have proportionally more chance.
Keep believing you can achieve it.

ParticipantHi Royce
There are lots of homoromantic guys, so you are in luck. I get attracted mostly to foreign guys, Indian, Bangladesh, Middle Eastern and others – and almost every time I look at a guy’s profile on here and find him aesthetically attractive, it is guy seeking guy!! Me and my male foreign homoromantic friends are often attracted to the same guys – ha! Makes for interesting conversation!
I am curious to know how you could be with anyone else who was not a guy? Such as a girl who loved to kiss a lot? I cannot imagine that would appeal to you, but may be an aromantic?

ParticipantHi Joy
That sounds nice. You look too young to have an oldest son.
Happy Christmas xx

SpectatorI have no family where I live so I am spending Christmas day with two sets of friends. Lunch with another friend in the same situation as me and dinner with an older couple.

ParticipantWow Gerdes, that is a lot going on, more than some those with family. I just have my parents and my guinea pigs who are going with me to my parents tonight for a few days over Christmas. Happy Christmas to you. Have a great one x
