interesting, do you consider the boat and the sea theory?
It bases the idea that society itself is the ocean,
the more we let society change us the more we sink.
however we still have to go with the flow of the ocean as we float on top.
Otherwise we will crash and sink.
So yes we can strive to be different yet we must still go along with the rules of society. I hope this helps if not I should reconsider having 6 cups of coffee and going to the forums
