- Things I am looking for in a person are:
I am looking for a companion, a kindred spirit, if you will. Someone who will care about the trivialities of my life. Someone who appreciates the art of a good story (not necessarily a storyteller themselves, but who will understand and support my passion for the craft.) Someone who is equally fascinated with the beautiful and terrible potential of the human spirit, with whom I can share long, open-minded, and intellectual conversations about anything and everything. Also someone who hopes to someday be a parent, because having children is one of the biggest goals of my life.
I am actually panromantic despite what my ”looking for” states (although I do tend towards women or people outside of the gender binary somewhat more than men.) I don’t mind a long-distance relationship for now, as I realize that we aces are few and far between.
- About me
I’m an agender panromantic asexual. I’m a collector of compelling characters. I love to tell stories, especially through the medium of playwriting. I also would love to teach theatre classes to kids of all ages. I’m something of a kid at heart—I wear multicolors frequently, I’m totally obsessed with Disney movies (ESPECIALLY Pixar) and I’m prone to bursting into song on a whim. (Have I succeeded in scaring you away yet? Heh.)
Despite my somewhat childlike nature, I am also a deep thinker and love to explore profound and complicated themes in my writing and my learning. There’s nothing I love more than discussing important ideas with my loved ones. I love being exposed to new ways of thinking and new mindsets, so long as I am treated with the same openmindedness that I afford those around me.
I’m much more of a reader and theatre-goer than a television or movie-watcher, though there are exceptions (see previous allusion to Pixar movies.) In terms of music, I do love showtunes of all shapes and sizes, as well as instrumental music like soundtracks, ragtime, and some contemporary artists like Martina McBride, Michelle Branch, Regina Spektor, and Ingrid Michaelson.
Please feel free to drop me a line–I’m pretty easy to get to know and would love to strike up a conversation with you!
