I’m reading a book that touches on soul mates. I thought the view stated was particularly interesting. It says that each person”s soul, as they are reincarnated, is split into two pieces. In the next life a person may find the other half. As the person reincarnates more and more, the souls multiply. If a person meets more than one soul mate, their lives can be a bit difficult. If a person meets their soul mate and does not stay with them, they may never meet another that they love quite as much. So instead of a person’s soul being compatible with yours, the two souls were, at one point, literally the same.
