What did you think about the new X Files?

I loved it, but I know it received a lot of criticism so I’m just curious. I genuinely thought they did a great job – I especially loved the lizard man episode – although I think they maybe tried to cram too much into the series finale. They could easily have spread that over a couple more episodes, but I guess they weren’t sure at that point if they’d ever do it again.

That said, while I’m looking forward to another miniseries, I’m nervous that they’re looking to phase Mulder and Scully out again for the next one. Fingers crossed…

Any thoughts?
