In response to the eight-part PBS series “The Great American Read” launched by PBS on Sunday, May 20, 2018, I would like to hear your (club members) thoughts, particularly of any novel that you think should have been included in the top 100 for which voting has begun to name top novel. I know the 100 result from a survey. I think James Joyce’s Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man should have made the list. To read about it you can go to http://www.pbs.org look for The Great American Read.
