Is it not rather fascinating, especially when one considers the commonality of libidinally driven relationships, to find so many people seeking a platonic relationship, and a platonic relationship alone? After a considerable time of thinking myself the only one, I certainly am.

Hi, I think platonic love means to actually love and respect the other person in a deeper way obviously than a casual friendship. In the sense that you not only have a bond but something that you would want to do whatever it takes for that person. You are intune with each other’s feelings and emotions. You want what’s best for that relationship to grow and nurture it, you want to please and do things together.
And if things become physical there is a limit, a boundary that keeps it platonic.
