- Things I am looking for in a person are:
I like to go out and do things like seeing plays or live music or various events (and I do take in to account budget as I don’t earn very much). You need to be open to LGBT people, of course, and accepting in general -I’m trans and autistic and there are times I just do not fit in, and if you can just accept that, it helps. I work hard on being positive and being supportive, and I like meeting people who agree that is important.
- About me
I’m starting to get in to Zen, and having been celibate for the past 35 years I figure this way can get some credit for being spiritual or something. I’m not really very spiritual but I think learning to calm one’s mind is helpful. I was a part-time blues musician for many years and I was never comfortable on-stage but socially I was playing gigs in straight bars and that was a social outlet, which with the demise of my band I no longer have, so now I work out or go to Zen and stare at a wall. I have a college education and a few tech college degrees, so I can be very technical about some things but I’ve also received a fellowship for playwriting and was a musician so I have an artistic side too -I am very much a private person, but I like being around people, it’s just as a transgender, autistic Buddhist person, sometimes words are so inadequate but I try to be positive and supportive to everyone and am starting to realize that that includes myself, and I’m working on that. I love seeing plays and live music of course but chatting over coffee would be fun too Really anything like that would be nice.
