- Things I am looking for in a person are:
After many years of feeling like I’m different but not knowing why, I’ve finally come to realize I’m asexual. In the long run, I’m looking for someone I can connect with on a deep level without the expectation of physical intimacy. I’m hoping to eventually find someone to share my life with. As someone who is very new to this world, I’d also welcome friendships with other people like me :).
- About me
I’ve never been one for dating because the pressure and physical expectations always seemed like too much to handle. Now that I’ve come to terms with being what I’d currently term biromantic asexual, I’m ready to put myself out there a bit more.
I am an introverted person and come across as extremely shy at the start. It takes me a while to warm up to people, but once I do I am much more outgoing and chatty. I enjoy traveling and have so far been to a few different countries with many others still on my bucket list. On a day to day basis, though, I usually prefer nice quiet nights in with board games, movies, or crafts (especially crochet) rather than constantly going out and socializing. I’m not big on large crowds, but am much more comfortable in those situations when I’m with someone I trust. I’m also a bit nerdy and enjoy things like Buffy, Harry Potter, LOTR, Nintendo, LEGO games, Kpop, etc.
Professionally, I work in a genetics lab and I love my job. I get to help people everyday and I find it extremely fulfilling. I’m not sure what else to write here, so if you have other questions I’d love to talk.
