- Favorite Vacations Spot
I'm not rich enough to have a favorite. I used to live in Japan, and I'd love to go back there.
- Ideal First Date
We make plans for a Saturday night. I come to your place and meet any pets you may have. If you don't have a pet, you show me pictures of your childhood dog. You went grocery shopping earlier. I brought the drinks and desert, but like, multiple varieties because I don't know what you like. We cook dinner together. It doesn't turn out right. We decide to go out to eat. By that time it's late and we don't have reservations anywhere. The restaurant tells us it will be an hour until we can be seated. We decide instead to go to a karaoke place (one of the authentic ones where you get a private room). We nail our first song, then with undue confidence choose one far outside of our vocal ranges. That one turns out as you might expect. We secretely recorded each other crashing and burning though, in the event we need institue mutually-assured destruction some time in the future. At the end of the night, I say I had a good time. You say you had a good time.

A friend of mine was in the Peace Corps at the time, and I wished my work could be as beneficial to the world as her was. I finished my degree and moved back to my home town to work. From there, I started volunteering at several charities, including the local hospital. I applied to medical school, which I somehow survived, and now get to do work that – I hope – helps people.
My family is very political. I try not to be
I legitimately wanted to be an ascetic mystic when I was a child. I’m still fascinated by the mysticism part, although I’m not entirely sure how much of it I believe.
