- Things I am looking for in a person are:
I resonate best with people who have an active sense of curiosity about the world, engagement in their personal growth, and who are passionate about lifelong learning. I also really appreciate people who are caring, nurturing and empathetic.
I am looking for friends, dates and platonic cuddle buddies. If I’m very compatible with someone, I’d love to find queerplatonic relationship or romantic non-sexual relationship. I am also open to a romantic relationship that involves occasional or infrequent sexual activity.
My ultimate goal is to find a long-term life partner, though! I would like to get married or at least have a commitment ceremony of some kind, if not legally married. I like the idea of a ”monoflexible” relationship, where I can be romantically and sexually exclusive with my partner – but still be free to have platonic cuddles with friends.
I am primarily interested in dating women, but wouldn’t rule out the possibility of connecting with a man or non-binary person if I met someone who was remarkably compatible.
- About me
My main passions are psychology, spirituality and personal growth. I mostly read non-fiction at the moment but I do read some fiction from time to time. I also enjoy art, craft, meditation, blogging and running online groups in my spare time. I don’t really get into gaming much on my own but I enjoy doing it with friends. I consider myself a feminist, and care about social justice and ecological issues.
My background is charismatic Christianity but I’ve shifted to a more open-minded spirituality now, so I’ve been exploring concepts like the Divine Feminine, shamanism and energy medicine. I am also interested in grounded forms of spirituality, and how to integrate embodiment with spiritual practice. I am trauma-informed and interested in somatic therapies and body work.
Myers-Briggs temperament is NF, and top love languages are touch and quality time. My Enneagram instincts are Sx/Sp, if you’re into that kind of thing. I like cuddling so much that I even help admin a group called Cuddlers of Canberra!
Also please note, I consider myself demisexual rather than strictly asexual. However, I am not in a position to have sex regularly for health reasons. I am a spoonie and have Fibromyalgia and CFS/ME. I identify as queer and sapphic, as I am bisexual/biromantic but mostly interested in women.
