My perfect match or friend material?
Good sense of humour is essential.
It’s probably best if you haven’t boiled any live pets as well, but I hesitate to say essential!

- About me
Why should you get to know me? That’s difficult to type without either sounding clichéd, like I’m selling a dining table or like I’m applying for a job I have no chance of getting, so, I shall begin..
Tall, dark, handsome, excellent legs, good finish, lots of character, flexible, willing to work unsociable hours, IT literate…
But looking past my poor marketing skills and blatant lies, I’d like to think that I am kind, loyal, spontaneous and have a sense of humour – does everyone put this? In which case, It makes the whole phrase sort of meaningless, but I do like to lampoon much of life and thus I don’t take much of life’s insanity too seriously. I’m not claiming that’s a positive for one second and that’s not to say I haven’t dipped my head into the darkness (and still do) and appreciate that not everything is un….serious.
I am divorced. Have been for over 10 years. Not that I find this important to highlight, but some people may have social hang ups regarding this sort of stuff and raise red flags etc. so let’s just get it out the way with.
I live and work in London, but family and friends are back home (not London) so actually don’t know anyone (that’s a lie, I obviously know people. ish) here and whilst I am more than comfortable in my own company and can quite easily go to a show, the theatre, the cinema, a pub, a tube station on my own (and do), it would be good to make new acquaintances and make London more homely……or meet people further afield and make my point above completely irrelevant. Either really. The world is a smaller place these days. Or rather the exact same size but easier to navigate.
I consider my self an introvert plus shy (or at least socially ’challenged’) when around people I do not know. It’s a cross I bare. If a label is required, then I suppose hetero romantic grey ace fits. Although I’ve never been one to use or strive for any type of label, either for myself or to use against others. ”Yay” for me.
Politically speaking (as I know some people either like to connect with like minded individuals, or stay away from certain politically leaning views) I am not Conservative, nor am I a fan of Jeremy Corbyn/Labour. I do not believe that the Liberal party are particularly liberal and am not convinced that the Green Party are particularly credible beyond the environment (as crucial as that is), so I’d probably sway towards the Monster Raving Loony Party, who’s policy/manifesto pledge to paint half the grey squirrels red to increase the red squirrel population, is ingenious.
By the way, I don’t care about your political leanings. As long as it’s not criminal or morally contemptible….
I enjoy film, some TV, theatre, watching most sports, pubs, good food, bad food bla bla bla
My musical interests are eclectic, from Rock, Pop, Indie, Jazz, Classical and beyond, with Pink Floyd, Bowie, Queen, Springsteen, Oasis, Snow Patrol, Dido, Creed, Katie Melua, Melody Gardot, Moby, Gorecki & Mozart being just a few of the many artists that fit the bill.
