- Things I am looking for in a person are:
Looking to make friends with like minded people. I hope one day to find someone to make me laugh, someone to who enjoys the same things in life as me.
I used to be very shy on the surface, but when I get to know people as individuals and as groups in general I become very outgoing. It’s all about comfort of ones surroundings. I have very dry humour, and am irreverent. Not everyone can deal with that.
- About me
I am from Bognor Regis on the south coast of the UK originally, but have traveled much in life, including 5 wonderful years studying in Canada. Now I live in West London.
I studied folklore, with a specific focus on food-lore and how humans view food and the changes that have taken place in understanding and importance of food as means of productions and distribution have changed over the last century. My response to this has to become a foodie, and I absolutely love eating out, cooking delicious meals, and trying new things. There’s nothing I don’t like, and will try anything!
Aside from that, I’m interested in learning about cultures, family stories and just learning about people. There are billions of us on the planet, and we all have amazing stories to tell.
I love music, especially folk music and regularly attend folk festivals. In Canada I used to tour folk festivals as a volunteer, in the UK I’m more austere and just go for fun. Shrewsbury is my personal favourite I try to go most years.
Love a good trip to the cinema, reading a good book and just chilling out between work. Travelling is something I’ve always enjoyed. Hiking the Newfoundland coast, the Irish coast, exploring new cities and countries and just moving around with a smile, all this makes me tick.
