- Things I am looking for in a person are:
I’m here to find a passionate but patient person. Someone who will inspire me to be the best person I can be, and yet still love me when I fail. It would be great to find someone with whom I can share my passion for music, especially classical. I enjoy reading, and I like talking about books, so I’d be very happy spending time reading together. You’ll need to be open-minded… I may start talking about a random subject at any point!
- About me
Music is my life, my life is my work, my work is music. Except when I get distracted, usually by shiny things like (most recently) how to draw anamorphic images, intending to create a picture for my bedroom’s ceiling with some futuristic cityscape or architectural marvel. I’ll probably never start it, never mind complete it, but the thought is certainly there.
Waffling aside, I’m a slightly self-conscious guy, probably a romantic asexual. I love both laughing and being serious; being wacky and being completely straight (although I’m rubbish at the latter). I can freeze up when under emotional pressure, but can be provoked by beauty (predominantly musical) to ache in my heart.
Music is my main passion, and my life’s work. I constantly feel pressure to work more, to learn more, to get better all the time. I dislike it when someone tells me I don’t need to work, as there is so much I want to do, and indeed can do, in music; the main frustration I encounter in getting down to work is my lack of single-mindedness: I can get interested in anything.
Things seem to be going wrong with the messaging system on this site, so send me an email at [email protected] if you’d like to talk!
I apologise if I don’t respond to your message within what appears to be a reasonable time-frame. I sometimes – nay, regularly – get a mental block about communication, which is pretty unhelpful for others, and upsetting for myself. I can only ask you for patience and understanding.
