- Things I am looking for in a person are:
I think patience might be number one. Patience and compassion, an open mind and an understanding that the world as it is has taught us poorly and while it’s difficult, it’s important to try to unlearn all of those bad lessons (in the form of various prejudices and oppression). That’s actually really important. You don’t have to be incredibly knowledgeable about theory or anything, just somewhat aware of how poisonous the world can be.
Um, heavy stuff aside, I enjoy meeting creative people in basically any sense of the word, especially anyone I can nerd out to about old art.
I’m interested in making new friends but I’m also looking to find someone for a more romantic sort of relationship. I’d like someone to cuddle up with and watch stupid movies and cartoons, who can drag me out and into social situations sometimes since I’m so very bad at that. Aesthetically I do prefer feminine and androgynous people of all genders, but don’t be discouraged if you’re masculine, I’m still a very open person!
- About me
My name is Ennis and I am a non binary trans person (an androgyne specifically). My pronouns are they/them/their and I will NOT talk to you if you can’t respect that.
I live with my best friend and her husband and three cats (only one is mine) in a small apartment in Toronto. I work at a book store and struggle daily not to buy more books to pile around my room. My favourite genre is fantasy. I like writing and am, like many, slowly plugging away at a novel. I also draw (badly) in the battered little sketchbook I carry everywhere, regularly creeping on people at the mall for life drawing practice. I love horror movies, I also just started watching the X-Files and am VERY EXCITED ABOUT THAT. Fashion is another recent love of mine, so come talk about androgynous looks or high femme sweetness with me? I’m kind of shy and soft-spoken but I actually really love in depth conversations on just about anything so, please, come say hi!
