Defining what you’re looking for in a little box is difficult. People often don’t know what they want until they find it. But generally I’m looking for someone who is intelligent and able to hold a decent conversation. Someone who is able to stay up to date with what is going on in the world beyond just the tabloids and is able to discuss important issues. Also, good grammar is important.
I’m also looking for someone who is active/adventurous, likes to laugh, and have fun. I like to stay active and do various activities (hiking, swimming, just general fun activities), and am looking for someone who is also active. I’m usually willing to try new activities, and want someone to take part in adventures with.
- About me
I always find it hard to describe myself, but I guess I will start with the basics. I have a bachelors in Psychology and am pursuing my Master’s degree in Sports Psychology. Eventually I want to be a professor. I tend to be very studious, but I do like to have fun too (you can only read so many textbooks at once!).
I like being active, especially with running and swimming. When the weather is nice I like to go hiking and sometimes cycling. I was also a varsity fencer during my undergrad, and still fence recreationally.
I consider myself to be a huge nerd and enjoy sci-fi and fantasy movies/shows. I watch way to many series to possibly consider listing them, but my favorite series of all times would definitely have to be Stargate. I also like reading. I wish I had more spare time to read personal interests books, but I’m mostly stuck with text books and Scientific American/National Geographic. Although my absolute favorite recreational stories are the King Arthur legends. I adore anything to do with the middle ages and love reading about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
When I do have a spare moment I also enjoy writing. I have a couple of novels on the go, and one day might try and get them published, but that is a long ways away.
I consider myself to be a very open person. I think that a conversation needs to go two ways, I’m willing to tell you all about myself but only if you do so in return. I love having conversations and making friends as long as it goes both ways. Don’t message and just say ”hey” tell me who you are and I’ll let you get to know me.
