While I have several mixed feelings, I will say that Elsa is my queen and I wish the movie was flipped and make it about her journey instead of Anna. Still, she gets enough focus that I love her still. I just find her such a wonderful presentation of what dealing with depression and anxiety looks like. You see how it starts, builds up in her and all its manifestations. It’s such a solid topic that you don’t usually see in children’s media (or in general if you consider how… human, for lack of a better word). That aspect will always be my favorite and elevates Elsa in my likes, next to Mulan and Nani.
