- Things I am looking for in a person are:
Trustworthy, mellow, kind, compassionate, has a respect for all living things, sense of humor, self aware, appreciates the little things in life, loves hugs and cuddles, likes to explore (I’m referring to both exploring the outdoors and restaurants and to explore new ideas and beliefs), no destructive fixations (productive obsessions are fine :)) )
I’m not really ready to dive into a serious relationship just like that, but I am ready to make friends and listen and explore. After all, that’s kind of the way for a demisexual because first there needs to be a stable emotional connection before anything else can bloom, if any.
- About me
I’m demisexual and hetero-romantic. I like quiet, not so crowded places. I am a person of few close friends and many acquaintances. I love connecting people to help them fulfill their potential in life. I love to write and draw my stories in comics and I’m learning to play the guitar by myself because sometimes I can make up a song or two. I have a sci fi – fantasy trilogy in progress about how two brothers discovered their identities when life was against them and I hope to finish it and maybe publish it at some point in this life. I’m a life-long learner and my ambition is to read one book from each category in human knowledge.
I’m a software engineer for now, but in the long run I think I would like to be a social entrepreneur on education. Education is the social cause I care about the most because I have witnessed in my own life how devastating it can be when it lacks so I’m very passionate about the topic. I would like to start a webcomic in which I illustrate some of my life lessons which I had a hard time learning and I find crucial.
I’m looking to make friends and learn something new from anyone and also teach someone something new if they’d like to. I like deep conversations about books, life, concepts, ideas, creativity etc. but also lighthearted topics – I can get a bit dreary sometimes, but I’ve learned how to pull myself out of that mood. I value self-knowledge and awareness in both myself and other people. I think the purpose of life is to become as awake as possible in one’s own rhythm.
